It doesn't say much about what it was.

Private security firm, evidently. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandline_International)

Didn't know that they stopped only last year - I thought both Sandline International and Executive Outcomes wound up ages ago. For a while there Sandline International was the subject of some media hysteria, here in the UK. Some sort of moral objection to other countries using "mercenaries" in conflict (whereas for the UK to use Ghurkas is OK, apparently  ). I remember that Frederick Forsyth came out in support of them, though...

(He wrote "The Dogs Of War", in case you didn't know...;) )

silverlance, several years ago I was web surfing about mercenaries and came across at least one person who worked for Executive Outcomes (as a mechanic or something) and had an extensive resume posted on the web. So just web searches may bring up someone. And since Sandline was in the news a lot, find names of their employees and try searching for them.

About a year ago the History channel did a 2-hour documentary on Mercs, with a lot of emphasis on Executive Outcomes & interviews of guys with those funny South African accents. It was amazing what they were able to pull off...
