What do you guys think about the I.O.R. Valdada scopes? I have been seeing quite a few of them lately?

I have a pair of the IOR 10x50 Military binoculars. I like them a lot and they were fairly priced. I would love to get some of their scopes, but have no personal experience with them.

scopes are pretty good.
they are also expensive, heavy and have weird reticles. i'd rather spend the same money on something else.

I have an IOR 10x56 on my remington 700P. I really like the MP8 reticle busy as it may seem. It works about the same as a mil dot, except that it uses hashes instead of dots and marks every 1/2 mil. That is the mP8 reticle. They are built like T72s. They are reletively heavy but you can stomp on them and not hurt em. One thing though, this being my first "tactical" scope, I can say that I prefer a smaller objective than 56mm.
Compared to a leupold VXIII I like the IOR better. Compared to a super sniper I like the IOR better. Compared to US optics, well, the US optics is better. They are very nice for their price range. And I think they probably have the sharpest, clearest, most crisp audible adjustment clicks on any scope I've ever handled. I dont know about their hunting lineup though.
Some people have trashed IOR scopes on other sites, but that was with the old style scopes having dust particles in the lenses. The new ones don't have that problem (any new style Ive ever handled) and I havent yet found an old style that has had that problem either. But bad news has to come from somewhere right? Some people dont like the urine colored lenses, but thats the coating they use.
In short, I highly recommend them. I like mine very much and I will most likely continue to buy IOR products in the future.
