Houston & IDPA -- where to get started?

I'd like to shoot my first IDPA exercise, where best in the city to get started? I live in Sugar Land SW of town.

Not a novice shooter, but a novice to IDPA.

Go to TexasIdpa.com The best club is at the PSC range in Friendswood www.psc-range.com The IDPA match is the first saturday of the month I believe. You can also shoot monday nights at eastex gun range on 59 north past 610.
