I volunteer as an instructor (non-certified) for the PinkPistols here in San Francisco (we have a large gay and lesbian community here…who knew?) and at last nights range event at Jackson Arms a female reporter and cameraman where there to do a story on the Pistols.
I didn't talk to the reporter too much as the news story was supposed to be about the PinkPistols and I'm not officially a member (I'm not gay, just well groomed ;) ).
The reporter had never shot a handgun before so I ran her through the basics and went over the four rules, set her up with my Ruger MkII, off we went.
She shot like a girl! Which is to say pretty darn good.
Four rounds in the black at seven yards and you should have seen the grin on her face!
Don’t know if they showed the video last night (NBC11 here in the Bay Area) but if they did, the tall guy in the black shirt and olive drab ProEars was your truly.
