My good friend Bob the Bailiff is having trouble with a Vulcan Arms (I know, I know) .50USMG single shot rifle, to wit: light primer strikes.
Any recommendations as to a remedy?

It's pretty much been said.... Hesse/Vulcan = POS
Here's what I can tell you, seeing how it's a shellholder DO NOT work on it yourself!!! There have been a couple accidents from people messing with shellholder type .50's, send it back to the Mfg. Your life isn't worth the chance that someone will make a mistake, let the Mfg. work on it.
It could also be the ammo, some surplus has hard primers. If your friend reloads tell him to check the primer depth, make sure he's not cutting the pocket to deep.

Thanks.
*sigh* The guy is a notorious skinflint. He has multiple copies of everything the Chinese ever imported including the Uzi copy. Loves military surplus jetsam.
Wish I could talk into better guns, but you know how that goes.:D
