In 1995 I bought a new, original Wesson Firearms Alaskan .445 SuperMag 5.5" with the unique Titanium Nitride finish. Only 500 of these special, handfitted revolvers were made in the early 90s, and this one is number 29. The "Bob Serva era Alaskans of 2002" don't have the original's Titanium Nitride finish because its cost was too high and difficult to do again. I've used it very little because I had 2 others to hunt with at the time. Does anyone know what its value is now? I may be willing to sell it if the price is right.
Thanks, Bill

Though I imagine there are some out there you may be hard pressed to find a Dan Wesson collector. You should be able to sell your revolver, but good luck on getting any kind of a premium for it.

Watch this auction and see what the seller gets for it...

Thanks for the input gentlemen. That other SuperMag auction is interesting, but the Alaskan is in a much better league from a uniqueness aspect so I don't think they're comparable beyond the low serial number.
