I've heard most all replicas are made by Uberti or Armi san marco. But I've never seen an ASM marked replica only uberti or pietta. So is pietta owned by ASM? Or are they three different companies?

ASM is kaput. They were bought out by COWS, then resold and marketed as AWA for a while and then pooped out altogether. I think that's the way it went, but they are gone, anyhow. There must have been a lot of guns in the pipeline, some distributors are still advertising them under the AWA brand. You might could find better history on the SASS Wire.

All current Eyetalian SAA clones I know of are Ubertis except the Great Western II which is made by Pietta.

I have an old Cimarron made by ASM but they get their guns from Uberti now.
