Bought the wife a good new food blender today ..... BUT!!

Bought myself a Ruger Single Six. Not sure these two quite equate. Have meant to get a .22lr/22mag wheel gun for ages ... since I ceased to have my Colt Trooper years ago .... so, having just ''dropped in'' to see my FFL buddy ... came out with this. (Damn, I am soooooo weak willed)

Now I got some explainin to do! Oh well .... such is gun collecting! :) :p

Next trip is bound to be (perhaps) the Springfield compact .45acp he has .... itchin to be bought!:uhoh:

Sell it like Huck Finn would! ;) Sure, you bought a new toy, but she bought something that is far more versatile & will serve everyone in the house well! :D

Oh, congrats on the new wheelgun! :D

I have one just like the one in the picture. It is probably the gun I have the most fun shooting. It's very accurrate with either cylinder.

Didn't bother with any target pics but ... just got back from range not long ago .... just had to get sights sorted out.

After a coupla cyl's of .22lr .. was in the black (3 1/2" black) ..... at 25 yds .... only had to increase sights elevation a tad and a few clicks right. Apart from fliers that were my fault .. everything was in black.

Switched to 22 mag cyl .... aim only changed slightly .. just a shade to the right..... and most in black. Shoots better than I can! Trigger typical Ruger .. somewhat heavy but clean break .. will improve trigger later.

Overall ..... great lil revolver.:)
