Happy, happy, joy, joy.
No big suprises as I have shot several of these guns but some observations.
Many have complained about the sight set up being too high, poorly fitted, etc.
I have to say this pistol fits those descriptions well.
The rear sight is sort of shoved into the rear dovetail.
It is tight but lots of gaps with light shining through.
The sight came factory set quite high on the elevation yet it hits point of aim with 185 ammunition and a bit too high with 230 full metal jackets.
This isn't a great big concern because my intention is to replace the sights with Meprolight adjustable tritium sights as soon as I can get a set.
Hopefully the front will be a bit lower and the rear will offer a greater range of elevation adjustment.
The gun came with two 12 round magazines, they are steel bodied with polymar bases and steel followers.
Well made and I took three additionals at time of purchase.
Trigger pull is excellent in trigger cocking and single action. 10.5 lbs. and 5 lbs. respectively on my pull guage.
A little perceptible creep in double action pull if done after the decocking lever has been used.
No creep if you let the hammer full down by hand and start from there.
No creep in single action and the overtravel was set perfect from the factory.
I fired two hundred rounds of mixed ammunition today, accuracy was excellent, and no bobbles, not one, gun just fed and spit out empties until I ran out of .45 ammo.
This pistol prints groups that should be coming from a custom fitted Match gun.
Most everything prints into an inch or less from the rest at 25 meters, two inches at 50.
Offhand three and six are easy to do, I'm impressed but again it didn't come as a suprise, these guns can shoot!
I think I could shoot even tighter with the pistol if the bullets weren't so damn big.
I will shoot another three hundred rounds on sunday and see what happens.
A Blade-Tech thigh holster and magazine pouches are going on order on monday.
Surefire weapon light and sights will get ordered on tuesday.
This gun may well replace my Glock 34 as my 'Tactical pistol'.
