CZ 452 Varmint, magazine/FTF problem

I just got a new CZ452 Varmint in .22M, and it's beautiful. It already groups tight out of the box, with a variety of ammunition, and a fairly inexpensive Bushnell Banner 3-10X scope. I just wish it wasn't so expensive to feed.

I often have to give the magazine a little push upwards, or the rifle will not feed correctly. Can someone recommend a fix for this? New magazine, perhaps? I only have the magazine that came with it, and I was thinking of getting another one. The current magazine has a bit more wiggle than I think it should, but it doesn't come free unless I use the release.

Any help is appreciated.

ps. I already have a post on rimfirecentral.com, but I rarely ever get a response from the rimfire crowd.

My bet is that the magazine catch needs to be adjusted, and it MAY end up that YOU can perform the task. Call CZ-USA about the situation, and they might be able to "walk" you through any adjustment procedures.

I have a CZ-527 carbine, and the factory mags were great (expensive, too!). A friend of mine bought a Savage 10-FM "Scout" rifle, and all of the factory mags he bought had to be tweaked slightly before they functioned properly.

CZ-USA has always been very good about customer service, and they have "techs" available.
