Curved recoil pad for 870?

I have an older Remington 870. It is an ex-police shotgun. It has a wood stock and plastic recoil pad. The pad is curved on the end that meets the stock as well as the end that engages the shoulder. I would like to get a cushiony, rubber recoil pad. All those I have seen have a straight back end that meets the stock, and will not fit this firearm. Does anyone know where I might find a pad that has a curve to both sides. I contacted Remington and am still awaiting their answer. Thanks

Sounds like an aftermarket modification. Any smith can true up the end of the wood and install a new pad.
As for waiting for RZemington, do not hold your breath. Customer service seems to be a joke these days.
HTH...
