Being new to reloading- I have relied on the direct/indirect advice within these pages. I've finally got my first winning combo and man it feels good! Thanks all, for the advice!
If any of you are not sure if you want to take up reloading- I leave you with this... This pic is an honest to goodness 4-shot group from my M70 coyote in .223WSSM (having added only a Timney trigger) @ 100yds.- 65gr Sierra Spitzer BT's; 35.7gr of IMR4064; COL is .005" from lands...
It measured at .218"
(BTW- I couldn't get the "Winchester Supreme" factory loads under 1.5")

Yes 4 shots... I actually started looking around on the backboard for a flyer because I didn't believe what I saw w/ all the trouble I've had thus far getting the groups wrung in...
One thing that seemd to help was the fact that I was wearing gloves and a thick coat today. I noticed that the scope wasn't twitching around as usual. I am new to rifle shooting in general and have to do what I can to take "me" out of the equation.

Now it's time to go back to the drawing board and find a ballistic tip that works!

I don't know if (Smitty03) is a hunter or not, but he sure is a shooter!!
And I'd say he's a reloader too!!

Congrats on the load combo and group! Now, if I were you, I'd get away from the bench and start shooting standing, sitting, kneeling, and prone. You know the rifle/load is capable of great accuracy, and is zeroed, so I'd hone my own skills. And then....varmints BEWARE!! ;)

Bullet/Bushmaster: My grps were far from that until I starting paying attention to many of the posts of which your advice was a large part of...So ThankYou! Some day I hope to get good enough to show up a the local club and participate in a shoot.
Fatelvis: That's definately on my list...I'll set up a pie plates at 200yds or so and try shooting from various positions next weekend. When the snow starts flying, I'm heading for the hills to try out for my first cougar...
