I have a Winchester 1300 Defender. This shotgun has a forearm tube (or extension) that is 4 and 3/4" long. The 1300 has three different lengths of forearm extensions used on their guns. It appears that the majority of them have a forearm tube that is 6 and 1/2" long. I am looking for a synthetic forearm to replace the wooden one on my Defender. Anyone know of a synthetic forearm that is availiable for the 1300 Defender with the 4 and 3/4" extension? I have already purchased one that dosen't fit, that's how I found out that not all of the 1300s have the same forearm. I've searched the net for information, with no results. Maybe some one here has had the same problem and found the answer.

Thanks

I had a similar question so I called Winchester spare parts and they set me straight. Look it up at winchester.com

Thanks for the reply Greg, I'm getting a Hogue forend tomorrow from Brownell's that their Tech Support guy said would fit. We'll see if he really checked it out or assumed. If not, I will be calling Winchester to see if they have one available.
