Mossberg 500 12/24 Slugster

Does anybody have the Mossberg 500 12/24 Slugster? I was wondering how you liked it, if you do have it.

Note that you can purchase the fully-rifled barrel for around $140, and stick it on your existing 500.

I was thinking I could get the whole gun for $227, and I knew I could get the barrel for $144. Don't you have to re-do the set up, etc. again? I thought it might be a good idea to just have a designated gun for slugs. I'm still not decided, but I thank you very much for your input. That's what I was wanting. I appreciate you guys.

Oh nuts, if you can get the whole thing for $227, why not? Then you have two receivers, and you can have guns set up two ways at any given time.

I thought they were around $300.

As far as the slug sights, they're both on the barrel, so I imagine you could just stick the barrel on and be good to go.

Here, though, quail and deer season overlap, so having a second gun with you might be of interest...:)

Thanks, ArmedBear......... I hope that price is right. At least, that is what they say it is on Walmart.com, down towards the end. I thought it almost sounded too good.
