Went into the field late this afternoon and killed two deer. They are his first and second deer in his second season.

My son took him on some land owned by a friend so they had landowner permits for does. He tagged the first one through the heart. As he was contemplating the situation, a second deer came in and was nosing around the first one. He dropped her too; lung shot. Neither took a step. Two great shots.:D :D

Grampster is proud.:D

His dad butchers his own deer, so he'll be getting a lesson about that, too.

Good job Dad! That story reminds me of my nephew a few years ago. I think he's killed more deer now than I ever dreamed of....and nice ones to boot.
