Okay, picture this...

S&W 1911 with anodized clear Aluma-grips.

Stainless ACT-MAG magazines with clear drop-plates.

Cen-Dex Storm holster and 2 magazine holders in Ice-clear polymer.

So, is that a Pimp rig? Skunkabilly? What do you have to say?

Hmm...not a big fan of clear stuff. Reminds me of the 80's Swatch watches.

Only if you are a pimp. Otherwise it's bad taste, but when it comes to 1911s I only like them as JMB designed for the cavalry.

Bowen makes real clear grips. The alumigrips of course or not clear. They bowens would fit your theme more. And Pimp = plated in something wheather it is gold or anything else

You should team up with Apple and call it the iPistol . :D

No if it was an iColt it would come in cranberry, blueberry, lime or titanium finishes, or my fave, graphite.

Wouldn't be a Pimp-Rig unless it has a row of tiny blinking red LEDs around the edges of the grips. :D

With all that see-through stuff, it sounds like it'd be a rig more befitting the invisible man than a pimp.:)

This is my pimp gun. Taurus PT940 in 40S&W stainless steel gold accents and pearl grips. It shoots really well too. I did have some trouble with the grip screws working loose. Tried to post a picture but it would not post.

I actually like those little gold-plated Colts (1903 and 1908). Because they are so small, flat and simple in design they can pull off the gleam. A little girly though. I wouldn't mind turn away that 1903 though.

my Dad actually owns the rarer 1903 4" 32. in nickel with the mother of pearl grips. It was a great-grand uncle's back up weapon.
