I was looking at the Galco IWB/tuckable holster with the newly designed J hook today and was wondering if anyone has used this holster. To my embarassment, I had to be shown how to properly use this holster by the gun store guy but it did seem to work pretty well. I have been looking long and hard for a holster that will really conceal a gun in my waistband so I can carry something more powerful than my Guardian .32 in my pocket. Thanks, Mike

i just sold the new USA rig today for a Glock 36. the customer played w/ it for a while and while he really liked it i felt the trained eye could spot it. now the new Galco underwrqap is a different story altogether. i was wearing a kimber procarry in it and the whole time noone, including the 2 deputies that were in the store spotted it. you should have seen the look when i said " how do you like this holster?" and pulled the 45 out of my bloused button up shirt.

I use one every day and I like it. The newer units feature the synthetic support tab but my older one has a leather support tab and I prefer that. I did take the holster to the local shoe repair store though and had them shorten the tab by 1 inch, which had the effect of moving the entire holster 1 inch higher above my belt and exposed the grip for a better grasp and presentation.
