SHEATH??

Anybody use Sheath? Is it any better or different than wiping with oil or clp?

I've refrained from using it because it lists 2-butoxyethanol in the MSDS. As far as its performance, it has a good reputation, though I don't know what the advantage would be over regular CLP...

It seems to dry on the outside of the gun better than BF and it does work. I've used it in a saltwater environment that included a little boat, whitecaps, rain, sleet, snow, blood (not mine, waterfowl) and mud.
I like the smell of Sheath, too.

Sheath, with 0000 steel wool, will remove rust from even a good blued finish without further damaging that finish.
For leaving a coat of protectant I prefer CLP.

Thanks for the info guys....I haven't seen a great difference as far as a protectant...i too prefer clp or fp 10.
