Is fullbore competition still a going concern in Great Britain?
Does that mean the .303 MKVII is still available in quantity?
I sure would like to get my hands on a pallet or two.

Fullbore rifle competition certainly continues - it was unaffected by the legislation which canned semi-auto rifles and handguns.
Whether .303 is still available in shooting quantities is a different question. Target shooters were switching over from .303 to 7.62x51 when I was shooting over 35 years ago.

the quantity of ammunition which the British gun trade turns over is tiny compared with the USA. One dealer stated to me that the whole of the amount of business done is less than in one major US city. Consequently the deals aren't there. Most surplus ammo goes straight into America and a portion of it gets reimported here if we are lucky.
British-made .303 seems to be about at an end here and the Greek stuff the MoD sold off has pretty much gone now.
You wouldn't be allowed to buy more than a few hundred anyway, unless you can make out a case to the police department for doing so, and then you start to attract attention from the fire department and the Health & Safety Executive.

Don't the Brits know I have a rifle to wear out!!
It seems with the government attitude in GB, it sould be easy to export ammo from there to the US, you know, to get the filthy stuff out of there.
OK. Next question.
Is MKVII equivalent ammo readily available in Austrailia. (would the rifling have to spin the other way to make the bullets work? :) )
