Rem 700 LVSF - Online purchase help

Hi all.

I am looking for a Remington 700 LVSF in 7mm-08 or 308 for deer hunting. Could someone please post website and or link for the best place to purchase online? My local dealer has the gun for $750 which is a little more than I would like to pay. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have been viewing this forum for a few weeks and the amount of knowledge here is overwhelming.

Did a quick search on Davidson's gallery of guns and Gunbroker, looks like best price is around $710 + shipping

This is all that I found listed at Davidson with msrp prices. They do not show any of the calibers that you wanted in the LVS model.

the 7-08 was discontinued a few months back. not sure if it was ever produced in 308...

the best you can possibly hope to do is right at $700 for nib from a dealer, and i'd be awfully surprised if you can come in under that...

The 700 Light Varmint Stainless Fluted is only available in varmint cartridges, the largest being .22-250.

If you want a feaherweight deerslayer in a short action cartdige, may I suggest the model 7 or the model 673.

mach- just because its labeled a varmint rifle doesn't mean it is only chambered in light cartridges... i have an lvsf in 7-08 and a vls (varmint laminate stock) in 308...

The LVSF is available in both 7mm-08 and 308. They are currently listed in several online gun auctions. I have had my hands on both guns at our local retailer. I was just looking for a good place to buy online at a discount price.
