Greetings all,

I just picked up a sidesaddle from Wilson, it's actually made by TacStar. The set up comes with one washer for each screw. Here's the stupid question ......

Do the washers belong on the bolthead side or in between the receiver and the side saddle????? :scrutiny:

I put 'em on the "bolthead" side to keep the machine screw from rubbing against the receiver. I just took one off (after a rainy afternoon of shooting) and there were washer-sized marks anyway. Oh well.
I would not put them on the side that the saddle is on as you really want that thing up tight/flat against the receiver.

And another thing....
Install the side plate first and make sure it is secure. Then attach the shell holder to the side piece - snuggly & with the benefit of lots of lock tite.

If installation is done in some other order, your friends may have a laugh at your expense.
