Have any of you used an insert to convert a 308 to a 7.62x39?

I understand that inserts are available and are not permanent. Any experience. I would use it on a bolt 308. Any idea whether the 7.62x39 would feed properly from the mag?
Thanks

Unless you are handloading rounds using actual .308" bullets, wouldn't there be a problem with using factory ammo which is loaded with .310" bullets?

There's an article on surplusrifle.com about it. You can find the article here: http://www.surplusrifle.com/reviews/tigerloudhousecat/index.asp
In short, it works, but has drawbacks. Rounds will NOT feed from the magazine.

Running a .310-.312 bullet into a barrel made for .308 bullets.
Then there's the 13mm of freebore that bullet is skipping down before it engages the rifling in the barrel.
That's assuming the chamber insert stays in place. :(
