On mine, I used the matching color of shoe polish.
Not much can be done for a scratched nylon stock.
There is a Spanish saying "The scars in genuine leather
are proofs of its authenticity." Think of them as noble
hunting scars.

Results on nylon are "iffy" but you can sand the scratches out with VERY FINE wet or dry sand paper, used WET, and ON A SANDING BLOCK, not in your hand.
Sand SLOW and easy, and NO power sanding or buffing, since nylon tends to overheat and spot melt ruining the surface.
After sanding out the scratches, use either a commercial plastic polish HAND rubbed, or something like Flitz or another good polish that's OK for nylon.
You have to be careful since the softer nylon if somewhat difficult to work with.
The secret is to use progressively finer sand paper, use a block to keep the surface flat and level, and not to leave ANY sanding marks or scratches before polishing.
