CCW - What & How do you carry?
1. Gun: Kel-Tec P-11 9mm.
2. Holster: Regular holster (outside wasteband). Just forward of hip.
3. Cover: Sweater in the winter. Sometimes I put it in my coat.
Not sure what I'll do this summer in hot Texas? What & how do you carry and what do you use to cover it? Yes, I'm fishing for ideas! ;)

I usually carry a Wilson Millenium Protector in a Milt Sparks Summer Special, or a Galco Concealable. Like yourself, living in Texas makes concealed carry more problematic in the summer.
Once the summer heat really begins rising (and I'm in shorts & t-shirt, or often have my suit coat off), I'll often switch to a Kel Tec P-11, which I carry in an Alessi pocket holster. It carries perfectly and doesn't print at all. It also has the clip attached on the frame, so I can even carry it on jogging shorts if I'm dressed like that.
I hate the trade off from my .45, but at least it doesn't stay on a dresser, or in the glove compartment. geegee

Glock 27 (40 S&W) in a Coronado Leathers Stealth Pac (http://www.coronadoleather.com/view.aspx?i=96&c=4&p=0).
On the recommendation of several knowledgable people, I checked out the Galco pack at a gun show. Nice, but also at the show, I found the Coronado product, which was cheaper and better, IMO, than the least expensive nylon Galco.
I got a medium, and have since found myself wishing I'd gotten a large so I could stuff more junk in there.

Favored carry: Kimber Compact Stainless (Series I) carried IWB in a Milt Sparks VM-2. Cover varies. Sweaters are preferred in winter. Sport coats and shirts with the tails out also suffice.
Alternate carry: On the bicycle S & W Model 60 in a D&S Enterprises Fanny pack. Sometimes in summer I carry the S&W under a shirt in a Galco Summer Special IWB.

Colt Commander .45 in FIST #20 IWB. Single spare mag in Dillon pouch. Very occasionally, a Slick and Willie 042 .38 Special in a belly band of pocket, with Bianchi Speed Strip for spare ammo.
I may end up moving to Arizona in the late summer, and if so I may have to reevaluate my primary carry gun, at least for the hot weather months.

"How do you guys with these tight leather pocket holsters draw the gun with one hand? Every molded leather pocket holster I ever tried would come right out of the coat pocket with the gun."
Mine has NEVER came out with the gun, it also holds the weapon in the correct position to pull it easily.
First, the holster is not tight. I could hold the combo upside down and the gun would fall right out. Second, the inside of the holster is very slick. The way Mr. Hedely "cures?" them, makes them very stiff and "SLICKERY" :)
The Stiff Leather also hides the outline of the gun extremely well. The side facing us in the picture goes against my "cheek" and the outside is smooth.
Contact Mr. Hedley and get one, if you don't like it, I bet he'd take it back, he is a real stand up guy.

Either a Glock 21 or Glock 19, depending on my mood, and what I'm wearing.
Holster is either a Sidearmor IWB or Dillon Master, again depending on mood and dress. Location is always just a hair forward of 3:00 - call it 2:45.
Over is either an open shirt or photographer's vest, depending on temp.
Backup is Kel-Tec P32 in a pocket holster.

Sorry kmays, I just now noticed that you were talking about a "COAT POCKET".
Pocket Holsters are for "PANTS POCKETS". Personally, if "I" were to carry my gun in a Coat Pocket, I wouldn't use a holster.

I've been carrying a full-size Kimber 1911 in an outside-the-waistband pancake-style rig by a local artisan, KC Custom Gunleather. I normally wear it at about the 3 o'clock position with a double-mag pouch by KC at about 8 o'clock, all covered by either an untucked shirt, suit jacket, or photo-style vest. I sometimes carry the Kimber in a Galco fanny pack, too.
Last week I just picked up a hardly-used SIG P239 in .40. I will be "proving" this gun at the range in the next few days (and I have every expectation that it will knock my socks off!) I will probably sometimes carry this on the belt as a second gun to the Kimber, but I've also purchased a Kramer Confidant holster shirt that in my early tries-on is doing a darn good job of hiding this gun under my usual XXL-sized shirts. I'm looking to pack the SIG this way quite a bit, hopefully.
