On one site all I get on EASTERN ARMS is " U.S. A brand name of MERIDEN ". On another I get " EASTERN ARMS CO. :TRADE NAME used by SEARS, ROEBUCK AND Co. of Chicago on both shotguns and inexpensive revolvers made by the IVER JOHNSON ARMS AND CYCLE WORKS. " Another site says an EASTERN ARMS MODEL 101.1 is a STEVENS model 94B and an EASTERN ARMS MODEL 101.23 is a SAVAGE MODEL416", this site deals with brand name cross references of newer stuff1950's up, not 1900's . Nothing on A HAMMOND or HAMMOND.
