Mauser 98k front sight hood...where to find one?

I'm about to buy a nice condition vet bring-back 98k German mauser. The only problem is the front sight is not hooded. Is there a source for 98k front sight hoods? Did all WWII 98k's have them?

I just want to make sure my potential 98k has not been altered, and it would be nice to find a hood.
