The little L-shaped piece that works the release on the 012 holster broke on mine. As the holster is about 3 years old, I did not expect warranty coverage and contacted Safariland to see if I could buy the piece.

Safariland sent me the entire mechanism that inserts into the holster body - free, including shipping.

No "proof of purchase," no hassles, just a couple of e-mails. THAT'S product support!
