Apparently I've been banned from APS, and I have no idea why. Any help?

I can think of a few folks that need to be banned long before you. I'm guessing it's a mistake.

I got an email from Oleg saying I've got a few posts that fit the bill....that recieved complaints....which really has me dumbfounded. I'm pretty sure I've been no more flippant than anyone else on that board, with a few who have posted above and beyond in some pretty debates....

I find it hard to believe you said anything worth getting banned for myself. I have been here and at APS since the beginning and have never seen you post anything that over the top.

That looks like my phrasing, I just didn't remember the details. You
managed to get four complaints on three different posts. My review of
the posts confirmed the complaints.

I did a user search for my posts, and all I found was one where I used a medium-intensity swear.
I can think of a recent thread that got really, really heated, but about 1/2 of the people that participated were pretty wound up, too.

I recently got chastized for a pretty rude post here on THR, but I apologized on that one, and wasn't banned here....

I asked Oleg for a rundown on what exactly I did.

The whole thing came as a surprise to me.

Funny, when I read something that I find offensive on APS (or here for that matter) I just ignore the thread and drive on.

I kind of thought that's how we were supposed to behave on APS so it didn't turn into another (at the end) Roundtable -- a bunch of whiners and petty people reporting every little thing. Sorry to here the whiners found their way to APS.
