Last night on America Most Wanted they took down a BG and he was carrying a Mustang series 380 ( pocket light or Gov ?) Cop! findly cleared ,told us what it was, make and caliber. Then look at camera and said 10 shots. WOW!!! I want a 10 shot flush fit mag for my Mustang. I guess I should at least be happy he didn't call it a assualt pistol.

There is a stainless Mustang that has 10 shot capacity.

I have never heard of that. What is it called? Is the magazine flush fit, or some kind of after market extended mag? The only way I could see it flush fit would for it to be a wide body frame, and to my knowledge (limited as it may be), I am not aware of Colt having made that.

I saw one at a gun shop in NC. It was called a +2 if I remember. The grip was just a little longer to hold a couple extra rounds.

I owned a Mustang Plus II for a while... As I recall, it was a 7 round magazine.

The stainless Mustang Plus II that is next to this keyboard as I'm typing holds 7 rounds in its flush stock Colt magazine.

I was watching a police show a few weeks ago and the officer was talking about a homocide involving a 50 ae DE. He said that the 45 has like 2000 lbs of energy so you can imagine how much energy a 50 has. :what: :D
Sometimes they get a little over exhuberant for the cameras. Stuff happens.
