Does Anyone have any load data for the 175 gr LSWC .45 acp, preferably using red dot powder?
I currently shoot 3.8 gr of Red Dot and a 200 gr LSWC in my Rock River with great results, switched to 175 for reduced recoil. I know I'm supposed to increase the powder charge, I want to keep it in around 800+ fps. Any suggestions? Red Dot is a bit faster than clays on the burn rate chart if that helps.

Sorry, I can't help you with the load data, I'm just now going to drop my 200gn swc load from 4.5gns of Bullseye to 4.0.

I'd like to know what mold or bullet you're using. I don't see 175grainers around my parts, so I'd have to pour my own.

I presently load the Hensley and Gibbs #130 (185gr wc) with 3.5 gr of 700X in a lightly springed Gold Cup for Bullseye competition. I would say that you could keep the 3.8gr of Red Dot and it would work fine. Quantrill
