Does the Remmy R3 Recoil Pad work, simple question?
Harder question, does it lessen recoil anymore than an average recoil pad?
Does it work as well as Remington clam it does?

Thanx,
Gavin

I've read that Limbsaver makes them for Remy. I can attest that my Limbsaver pad works.

+1. Turned my Guide Gun into a Ruger 10/22.

Well...almost. :D

Heartily recommended.

I've one on my 870 TB. Possibly the best pad I've had for recoil attenuation.

Can I get one (or a Limbsaver branded equivalent; I don't care what it says on it) for my wood-stocked 870 Express 12ga?

I have looked at specs, and none seem to specify my gun. I believe the Wingmaster has slightly different stock dimensions, for reasons I don't really understand, but hey, what makes sense in the world of sporting gun marketing, anyway?:)

It might fit, there's quite a bit of variation in the epxress stocks. I put one on my 870 Express Supermag. The pad was a little tall, no biggie. The screws holes didn't line up though. I had to drill the existing screw holes out with a 3/8" drill bit and glue 3/8" wood dowels in their place. Then mark and redrill the holes.
