...states for general safety rules, don't keep a loaded firearm at home.
While this may be a political and liability move, it really makes me question the credibility of the rest of the book and I haven't even started it.
The next page states that it's your responsibility to keep your family safe.
That's why I have a loaded gun. Duh... :rolleyes:

I got my lifeguard cert from them last weekend, which I believe included 'community first aid' on the same card. I saw no information on guns, or anything else a lifeguard would not come in contact with on duty, in the course.
But if true, I wouldn't be surprised.

Never heard of that one, but my First Aid/CPR certification isn't through them anyway.
