I don't know of any such thing. There are companies that make conversion cylinders for the Remington New Model Army (aka the 1858 Remington) can and ball revolver, but I don't know of any "conversion cylinders" that would let you fire a cartridge out of one of those Uberti 1873 cap-and-ball revolvers designed to look like the Colt Single Action Army.

If you just want a spare cap-and-ball cylinder, I suggest http://www.vtigunparts.com . They carry lots of Uberti parts, and may have a spare cylinder for you.

In fact, I just checked, and VTI indeed lists the Uberti 1873 BP revolver and has a schematic of it here: https://www.vtigunparts.com/ab2240000Equick/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=83&cat=Uberti+Black+Powder+1873+Single+Action+%2E44Cal

A replacement/spare cylinder is part number UB:448005 and sells for $60.

The American conversion cylinder makers don't make one because they want to stay out of trouble. Our Federal gun laws exempt BP replicas. They are not legally considered firearms for the purpose of criminal background checks, sale, shipping, etc. These small companies (R&D, Kirst, etc.) don't want to be accused of being in the business of helping criminals get guns. The 1873 frame will (probably) allow one to shoot modern, full-power loads, whereas the older BP designs for which conversion kits are available won't.

You could just buy an Uberti cylinder and an Uberti centerfire hammer.

Warnings: You would have little protection against a case rupture, because the frame has a big holt cut into it for the percussion hammer, AFAIK. And I don't know what pressures the gun would be proofed to.

Wayne R&D Gunshop is who's makin them...they aren't done yet ichecked with them a couple months ago but they still aren't ready. Here you can email them and keep track: http://www.randdgunshop.com/catalog.php?category=Conversion%20Cylinder%20Kits I'm waitng on one too. I know how to convert and it's pretty easy. You need to buy a few cartridge gun 1873 SAA Uberti parts to do so. But for $229 I'll wait and see what they got.
