The indoor range is open I believe after 12:00 in the morning on Saturdays and Sundays to Civilians. You have to watch a video on firearm safety and become a member but it's well worth it.:)

Actually, the range is operated by the Olympia PD. I have had a card for the last 3 years and while it's much closer than my club (Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club) up in University Place, the range does have some limitations.

You can't use any rifles except for .22LR and you cannot use the open area to the left as you walk in. You used to be able to use the counters to clean or work on your weapon but that is no longer allowed. There is no heat or ventilation inside so if the range is crowded it can get pretty stinky in there.

But if you do happen to go in on a slow day, you can have the place pretty much to yourself and the range masters will even come over and BS or even help you with techniques or any problems.

The target holders are on a powered cable so you can shoot any any distance from a few feet out to 50 feet and the lighting is pretty decent. They sell targets and allow you to take your own brass home or anything laying on the floor.

Now if they would just turn the heat on.... :D
