Two of my latest aquisitions. First is a 27-2, 3.5" barrel, nickel. The second is a 586 no dash, 4" barrel, nickel.

You did very well indeed! Several on the S&W forum would dearly love to get a hold of that M27 3 1/2 ...... Me included! :)

Hard to say which is the pick of the litter. Both are beautiful, beautiful wheelguns.

You think so? I feel there is no contest. The 586 is nice, but the 27 is the Real Deal. They are easily my favorite.

Very nice. I recently got a 6" Model 586, but I haven't come across a 3.5" M27 in a few years. You have done well.

I request a picture of that 27 on one of those velvet cloth type backgrounds with the photochopped white border so I can use it as my desktop image. Thanks to Robinson I have been looking an XCR for too long.
