Wow!!! CAS, what a fun time

I participated in my first Cowboy Action Shoot yesterday and What a Blast it was. Got to shoot my old and some of my fake old guns. Was real nervous on the first stage but the people really were friendly and helped me out. I even half way dressed the part. Having been a "Biker type" most of my life, it is a far stretch to wear a Cowboy Hat and boots other than my black steel toes. I would recommend to any one that likes Single Action Revolvers, Lever Action Rifles and Double Barrel shotguns, and just having plain fun to give it a try. It was very relaxed and VERY safety oriented which was a big plus. I wasn't first but I wasn't first from the bottom up either.:D :D

"...just having plain fun..." dtalley, that's what most shooting is all about. All the rest of it aside, most shooters shoot because it's fun. Personally, I couldn't care less where I place.

Welcome to CAS, you've discovered how addictive it is. I've been shooting CAS since August and just shot my first clean stages yesterday. I still enjoy it as much as the first time I strapped those hoglegs on, and expect to for years to come.
