Standard Stock Install on SLR-95

I have a SLR-95 with the thumbhole stock and have bought a traditional stock kit for it. However, I have to install the tang which requires the drilling out of the aft trigger-guard rivets and installing the tang with the new rivets. For those of you who have done this, did you perform this yourself or did you have someone do it for you? If someone else did it was it a machine shop? Gun-Smith? Does the safety bar have to be removed to access the rivets? I also understand that I have to also install a certain number of U.S. manufactured parts for it to comply with the ban regulations. Any help would be appreciated.

How to proceed depends on your SLR.
Some have the lower tang cut made in the receiver, and some don't.
If your's isn't cut, you'll have to make the cut.

You will have to remove the safety lever, which is no big deal, just rotate it until it points straight up, then slide it out.
