I'm wondering if anyone here knows of a good smith that can shorten a Taurus Tracker tube from 6" to 3" and do a trigger job and cylinder fit for moonclips.
I'm not really looking for the "Get a S&W" replies either, so stow 'em. I already have the gun and it is broken in pretty good. I have enough funds from Uncle Sam that I can spare a good tuning, as this would be my main weapon for a long time.
Also, could said smith lengthen a 617 tube from 2" to 3" , install a full-length ejector rod, and do a moonclip conversion?
Approximate cost for one or both?
