So does anyone have one of these pistol? Is this considered 2nd or 3rd gen of S&W? I wonder how it performs.

The 410 is a 3rd generation. It is considered a value line weapon. They are not finished quite as well as full priced weapons. They work very well. I have several 3rd generation S&W autoloaders to include one value line 9mm. Parts will interchange with The 4006.

I would get the 4006 TSW line if they still have this, I don't mind paying $700-$800 for it if it's better finished. I have to check on this.
