When you guys get old, and need a gunny to take care of those babies, keep the kid in mind.

That is a LOT of hardware. I doubt I ever accumulate 1% as much.

Wow. I like that second one, Oleg. HK21, right? Is it yours?

Here's a pic of a few of mine (nowhere the quality of Oleg's, of course):

That's a PTR-91 up top with a Burris scope, Arsenal SA M-7S with a Kobra holographic sight, and a DSA SA58 Para Congo (with a 30 round mag in it).

In the pic with your shotguns, whats the long-barreled, antiquated looking one between the side by side and the pump with the synthetic furniture?

It's a Remington 870 wingmaster. Oddly that one is from 1951 the first year of manufacture.

I got it from a pawnshop for $69 because the whole gun was covered in maroon paint.

The Quality of boats has really gone down hill lately. Its a real shame.

I've been thinking of investing in lakes and rivers so I can do dredgeing operations.

And they discounted it why?

Because people are stupid and concerned with appearances! ;)

Thanks. I thought it was a lot older than that.

http://www.PhotoServer.us/is.php?i=113436&img=DSCF6826.jpg
My XD-9 and Ruger 22/45.
In the back, a Colt 1911; my christmas gift to the old man. Manufactured by Colt in 1918, rebuilt at some point with a (now cracked :banghead: ) RemingtonRand slide.
Luckily, dad located a WW1 era Colt slide at the last gunshow. He's going through the acquisition process now.

Smith & Wesson, K-22. A semi-permanent loaner from grandpa. I believe it was purchased in 1956 from a hardware store on the east side.

http://www.PhotoServer.us/is.php?i=113439&img=DSCF6867.jpg
Another 'grandpa gun'. This is a Marlin 43, 12ga with 2 1/2in chambers. 'Twas his as a young whippersnapper.

Don't know about you fellas, but I won't tell the world what weapons I own. Paranoid, maybe, but between the ATF,police, and just plain crooks, I won't risk it. My son is a police chief, and he advises, don't give the police a reason to come into your house. The first thing they do is take your guns for their safety..Sometimes it takes a court order to get them back.

The SA-M5 and Classic each have about a 1000 rounds through them and the SA-M7S has about 2500 rounds through it.

You know, you make an excellent point but I believe as long as you dont have any illegal firearms you'll be ok. That's assuming your not afraid you might have used one of the guns a long time ago in a questionable manner. Also, just keep your carry piece and/or your home defense gun secrect.
