I've been a patient man, looking and waiting... always a minute late and more than a few dollars short... but finally... I managed to find a Colt Magnum Carry in great shape that I could afford. "All things come to he who waits..."

You'll really like it. I carry an older detective special every day. They aren't a lot of fun to shoot alot (the trigger is too thin) but they are great carry guns. They will also fit in many hosters designed for the 5 shot Smith J frame. Additionally, I find that the Smith K frame speed loaders work fine if you decide to use this gun as a back up to a smith k frame.

Colt has made some fine revolvers.

Indeed .. sweet!

Only wish Colt cyl release was ''push'' instead of ''pull'' ..... like a Smith!:p

P95... I like the pull much better than the push, myself. The push was always too finicky for me. I really like this; pull, open. Real easy.

Feanaro... I dunno... lemme see... .357 Mag... she looks like a "Maggie" to me... :D

I like the pull much better than the push, myself. The push was always too finicky for me. I really like this; pull, open. Real easy Steelharp ...... it's probably a case of ''whatever floats ya boat'' in the end! I ''teethed'' on Smith and all my practical revolver work was with my original M27 and speedloaders .... just seemed so natural to push as I then helped open the cyl, to dump and recharge. Having said that ... the ole Colt Trooper I had once in .22lr was no real prob at all ....

Guess for me in truth, it's a 55% - 45% deal .... I'll cope with either but .. just happen to like the ''push'':p

Maybe it's Freudian! ;) :D
