Range finding scopes for .308 Win.

I'm moving my firearms interest more to the refinement stage rather than the mass amounts stage. Part of that is getting good glass on my .308. My two choices so far are the Leatherwood or Burris Ballistic Plex. I want to avoid a Mil-dot because I can't guarantee anything to range off of in the deer woods where I'll be using this most, and don't want to switch glass from paper punching to hunting.
Any suggestions I may be overlooking? I'd like to keep it under $400.

Definitely give the IOR Valdada line a look. The M1 fits all of your criteria. You can see it here (http://www.valdada.com/vn/ior/03a). I am thrilled with every IOR optic I have ever used.
I usually buy through USAOPTICS.NET (http://usaoptics.net/4xtac308.html). They have great prices on IOR products along with a special price on rings and free shipping if you get them all at once.

I have a Springfield range finding scope on my M1A. Kind of neat...tuned up out to 1000 meters, never shot it that far though.
