Just picked up the bolt action .17 Ruger. Why? I don't know I just did!)NRA dinner auction)

What do you folks have to say about this neat little rifle?

Very nice guns. I just made the rounds to the shops I usually give my money to and every one of them had a 17 of some sort and most had a 22 Magnum. Not one single Ruger bolt action in 22LR to be found. :cuss:

Congrats on your rifle. They have a very adult feel to them. Triggers are sometimes a bit gritty but you might be able to find a local guy that cleans them up for less than an arm and a leg. :p

Wood stock. The bolt is a little rough so I guess I'll polish it up and apply a wee bit of lubricant. It came with rings so I now have to find a suitable scope for my latest addition!
