I just received the new novel by Mr. Camp in the mail yesterday. This is his first fiction work. I have not finished it, but have gotten through the first 3 chapters. All I can tell you is buy it. If you like Hi Powers, suspense, and novels written for shooters, then this is the one.

I am really enjoying the book and know that I will read it several times.

Go to http://www.hipowersandhandguns.com/Paid%20in%20Full.htm and order the book. You won't regret it. Also, pick up the Hi Power Shooters Guide, the dis-assembly guide, and 1911 Shooter's Guide while you are there.

Great work!

Deez.

Very good read. I struggled a bit through the first chapter, which is typical for me, but it's a real page turner after you get into the plot and characters. Definately written from a "gun guy's" perspective- which is a good thing. Well worth the money!

I can't find it at that address. All I get is what looks like some sort of search engine site.

Hello and thanks very much for the kind words. When the book is ordered alone, it has to be sent "media mail" rate. It's too heavy for first class and the only other option is Priority Mail, which is too much at the pricing of the book. When it is ordered with a technical "gun book", something besides the Disassembly Guide, it goes Priority. I wish I could send everything that way, but pricing would have to be increased by probably 2 1/2 to 3 bucks. If someone does want the novel and wants it Priority Mail, let me know and I'll find out the exact amount.

Thanks again and I hope everyone enjoys the story.

Best.

Sorry if I created confusion about the shipping rate. Just proves that I don't know what I am talking about, at least when it comes to shipping (and everything else according to my wife:eek: ). I edited the link so that the one I posted works.

Thanks for the great work, Mr. Camp. I really am enjoying the book.

Deez.

Hello and thanks so much.

FWIW, my favorite character turns out to be one I did not envision when I began working on this thing.

He is "Robert Allen Omar."

I got my copy last week, but with the holidays, I just got time to get to it yesterday.

Those of you who follow the various shooting forums (THR, TFL, 1911Forum, the late FNHIPOWER, etc) know Mr. Camp to not only be knowledgable, but also exceedingly polite. A genuine contributor to the common knowledge we could all do well to emulate. When I opened my copy of his book, I noticed he had graciously autographed the title page. What a class move. Thank you, sir.

I'm only a few pages into the book, but can already recommend it to anyone interested in a good read, especially one that strives hard to be technically accurate when it comes to the details of guns and shooting. (Although downloading 20's to 18 rounds? Tsk, tsk. :) )

I look forward to more from Mr. Camp, both in the fiction and non-fiction genre. I think we all do.

Great book. I won't say I couldn't put it down, because I had to sleep ... but I did finish it in two sittings. For a first (or third) work of fiction it is very impressive.

Hello and thank you very, very much for the kind words. As soon as I can I will begin working on the sequel to "Paid in Full" and have another project in mind for a firearm-related book. Thank you all again.

Best.
