Heavier pistols.....????

I'm a wheelgun guy. I much prefer a double action revolver. I've had a Glock (34) 2 Kimbers (compact and full size), and a Sig (P226). Not to mention a Browning Hi Power. They've all been fine weapons, but the autoloaders that shoot consistently well for me are two cheap chunks, a Star BM and a little Bulgarian Makarov. I still have the last two. Does anyone else find a heavier autoloader easier to shoot (accuracy and control)? This just might be a dumb question, but I'm thinking of taking the autoloader plunge again and I'm thinking heavier, not lighter. Obviously a 1911 comes to mind, Any other suggestions?

Me, I like poly guns, but I've learned to prefer all steel guns...all steel wheelguns, 1911's, BHPs even my P7M8. They just handle better

Very true, as long as it isn't going to be a carry gun, go for the bigger & heavier.

I carry a G26, but if I'm going to be shooting a lot, i'd prefer something with a little more weight, but then again, there can be too much weight...
