Royal Ordinance Follower Replacement

I recently got a batch (10) of 30rd Royal Ordinance mags. I have two that have a problem with the followers. If you insert an empty mag and pull and release the charging handle the bolt doesn't stay open. It retunrs about a third of the way forward. What I've found is that the follower is actually slid a wee bit forward in the mag when this occurs. If I pop out the mag and press the follower to the rear it will work okay. Needless to say this isn't very reliable.

What's a good source of USGI followers? Should I go with USGI or are the followers from Bushmaster as good?

I'm going to change the followers in them all.

Thanks,

Abe

I don't know of the best place, but I'll get you started...

If the followers Bushmaster is offering are the preferrable enhanced green models, then no worries. I would assume however, you will pay more than you have to.

There is a guy over on AR15.com that has enhanced followers for .75 each(green), or what I term blaze orange for a dollar.

His add over on AR15.com:

Hope this helps.
