I was watching American shooter saturday on OLN with my 4 year old son, he loves the show and so do I.

I had to laugh though at the end they had the gentleman who does the trick revolver shooting. He was demonstrating point shooting at steel plates.

He had two ruger vaqueros one in a cross draw, and then he picked up a double action revolver. I was expecting S&W since they are THE sponsor but low and behold he picked up a ruger, appeared to be a blued Gp-100 .357 mag.

So anyhoo I was wondering if the rugers may be better for fast and fancy shooting, than a smith????

Why else would this expert have picked one???
Certainly not to annoy the sponser.

OH yeah Miculek was on earlier in three gun, and Skouten (sp) did shoot a smith revolver (a new one) at one point.:p

According to Jerry Miculek, quick answer is NO!

I'd bet he is so good that he can even do that with a Ruger!! A mere mortal like myself couldn't do it with that kind of a handicap ;).....

Oh that's right, he did do it with a Ruger. See?? he is good, huh. ;)
