The Ithaca 37 has a single action bar while the Norinco copy interestingly has dual action bars (so I guess it isn't really a true "clone"). As far as I know the original Ithaca got along fine with one, and I haven't heard of anyone binding one up. Was Ithaca's single action bar ever considered a problem area?

In the day when John Browning invented the Model 37 just about ALL pump shotguns had single action bars, so it wasn't seen as a defect.

Some single bar guns do bind, but this is mostly on cheap or badly worn guns.
