what kind of ammo can I use?

I have a Dan Wesson 32 revolver which is stamped .32 H&R Magnum.
Obviously I can fire a .32 H&R round through this, but it can be a bit cost prohibitive, especially for range shooting and practice. :cuss: A box of 20 rounds is about $15. Any suggestions on what else can be fired through this revolver, which may be a bit lighter on my pocketbook?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Fifteen dollars should buy near 50 round boxes.
You may also shoot 32S&W and 32S&W long ammunition it.
And of course you learned a lesson here in having a pistol you can't afford to feed. These things are best found out ahead of time.
I too have a M732 Dan Wesson 32H&R MAG sixgun. I handload well over 5000 rounds of 32MAG a year to feed it and another dozen 32MAG sixguns, plus another 5000 rounds of 32S&W LONG ammunition. My handloads cost less than buying 22LR HP ammunition.
You might consider that last solution too.

great idea on the hand loads. I appreciate it... as far as purchasing a gun which uses expensive ammo, I was able to acquire it for $25. I figured I couldnt go wrong. espeically with all the good things I hear about their accuracy.....LOL. I just didnt think it would cost so much to go to the range. The expensive rounds I was being quoted on are the .32 H&R Magnum Jacketed Hollow Point, which seems to be the only round you can buy in this area. That is why I was wondering what else can be used for good range practice time.....

Geez, I can't imagine why they charge so much for it, I bet a dillon 550 would pay for itself in no time flat.
