Miester Bullets are some of the best I have ever used for target shooting. Shipping is a killer on lead bullets, but a websearch should turn up sources all over.

As HSMITH noted, shipping can really drive up the price of bullets. If you can find a good local caster you will probably benefit. For example, I recently bought 1000 200gr SWC locally for $34 + tax. I haven't found a comparable shipped cost from any of the manufacturers.

Penn bullets are thebest I have found on the internet.
shipping makes them more expensive depending on the weight and how far yoou live from Pittsburgh (home of Penn).
They advertise 20 brinnel hardness and I believe them based upon my results, and lack of leading. Their bullets are very consistant in size and weight.

You might want to look around for a local source. Shipping can get expensive. Find some friends who want some too and do a bulk order. I used to order mine from Laser Cast - then I found a shop about 50 miles from here that usually has them in stock and the price is less than I could get them for when shipping was added in. Laser cast is here http://www.laser-cast.com/

I have had good luck with hard cast bullets from T & T Reloading (Stockertown, PA)
They have a table at the Richmond, VA gun show (C&E gun shows) and sell at the catalog price (no shipping fees!)

I'm hooked on the Oregon Trail Laser Cast bullets. Found a local shop who stocks em and I'm in reloading heaven.

I have found that just about any source of 158 gr LSWC .358" bullets that are hard cast with a lube band makes for excellent bullets.
I use them with my atomic overloads in 38 sp [hotter than any 357 mag load published] and in 9x23mm [way hotter than those 49 kpsi published loads].
Given my extreme velocities, and that I have no leading with 4" barrels, I would say they are good bullets.
That and the wound channel the semi wad cutter makes, put these above hollow points in my mind.

If you've got any Gander Mountain stores in the areas.. I get 500 Meister Cast bullet for around $17-$20 depending on type.

I have heard good comments about all the companies listed so far, but one that has been left out is Leadhead Bullets. I have been using them for awhile and have no complaints as they make good quality bullets.
